The Detroit Tigers have made a trade with a division rival.
The Tigers traded Triple-A Toledo pitcher Woo-Suk Go to the Minnesota Twins on Sunday, July 5, a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed to the Free Press.

Go was not on the Tigers' 40-man roster, but will be added to the Twins roster due to an assignment clause in his contract, according to Dan Hayes of The Athletic.
Meanwhile, RHP Luke Taggart wastransferred to Toledo from Double-A Erie
The Tigers received cash consideration in the trade but did not receive a player.

Go started his career in the KBO in 2017 and played for seven seasons in Korea before making the move to the United States after signing with the San Diego Padres before the 2024 season.
He signed with the Tigers in December on a minor-league contract and started the season with the Erie SeaWolves before getting promoted to Toledo in May.
His stats have been good this season, as he's got a 3-1 record and 1.96 ERA in 27 games, which included one start.
For his career, he's got a 9-5 record and 4.50 ERA.
