After more than seven months since the Detroit Lions have graced fans' TV screens, Dan Campbell's bunch will once again take the field on Thursday night.
The Lions travel to Paycor Stadium to battle the Cincinnati Bengals in the first of three preseason games for Detroit.

Lions quarterback Jared Goff won't play, which paves the way for rookie undrafted free agent Luke Altmyer to see plenty of seat time. Altmyer has been taking second- and third-team reps since Teddy Bridgewater's retirement. The Lions signed veteran signal-caller Joshua Dobbs and Campbell said Dobbs will see some action as well even though he just joined the franchise on Monday.
